About Virtual Trade Shows

If you lined up exhibits in rows and made enough space between rows for nice aisles, made room around doorways, plants and furnature, you could probably fit 100 exhibits in this exhibit hall space.

But you would never want to do that. There are several things to consider when planning your exhibit hall layout...

Exhibit Load Time

Each exhibit loads a number of images. Every exhibit's images must load before the attendee is allowed to walk the exhibit hall floor. There are several factors while the exhibit hall loads (connection speed, computer memory, etc) that can cause the attendee to wait a while to enter.

Since the exhibit hall application will be presented by you (and possibly on your own website), we leave the potential wait time in your hands. If you have particularly patient attendees, add more exhibits!

Computer Processors

GoExhibit is consitently striving to create the best experience for your attendees. The smoothness of animation as your avatar walks through the exhibit hall is our #1 priority. However, when the application has to process lots of high-resolution and detailed exhibit models, it make's the attendee's computer work harder. You'll see this when you load 100 exhibits in the exhibit hall. The walking animation will be "jumpier" and not as smooth.

We recommend 30 exhibits

30 exhibits seems to load quickly (5 to 20 seconds). And the amimation is still extremely smooth. With 30 exhibits, you can put 8 to 10 exhibits in each room, exhibits are easy to walk around and your attendees can distinguish the booths as they walk into each room.

The Virtual Trade Show application supports all major desktop browsers to some degree. However, the level of support and the expected performance varies between different browsers. See the table below for an overview of browser features of interest to the Virtual Trade Show content, and which browsers support them.

GoExhibit can create mobile apps on Google Play and the App Store specific to your Virtual Trade Show. However, the Virtual Trade Show content is not currently supported on the browsers of mobile devices. It may still work, especially on high-end devices, but many current devices are not powerful enough and don’t have enough memory to support the Virtual Trade Show content well. For this reason, the Virtual Trade Shows will display a warning message when trying to load content on mobile browsers.

Note that this compatibility table is valid for the specific versions of the browsers as stated. Support should continue for future versions, but may not be stable in previous versions.

The Optimal Plan is exactly the same as the Basic Plan except that GoExhibit will create the graphics and position the first ten exhibits in the exhibit hall.

GoExhibit can usually provide the ten booths in few days. So this is a good solution for exhibit halls that need to be up and running in a short amout of time.

Each exhibit contains two dynamic panels. The panels each open with custom text about that exhibitor. The panel text is accompanied by two "More" buttons. These "More" buttons can link to any webpage on the Internet.

These web pages can be links to Company Homepage, PDF documents, YouTube videos, Video Conferences and more.

Sorry for your frustration. The Virtual Trade Show application is built to run solid on standard browser installations. However, there are some environments we can’t control. Some common environments that create issues:

  • Internal networks
  • Some 3rd-party extensions.
  • Ad Blockers.

That said, We are always eager to enhance the attendee experience. If you have a moment, send us the error message you are receiving or a screenshot of the error. We will try to figure it out for you.

There is no in-app chat at this time. Attendees can contact exhibitors using the "More" button links in each exhibit panel. The button can link to exhibitor contact forms or other methods of contact via a web page.
