The Virtual Trade Show

Attendees use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move throughout the exhibit hall floor. At each exhibit, attendees click on placecards, monitors or characters for webinars, videos, brochures...anything the web has to offer.
The Welcome Screen
The Virtual Trade Show application is powered by the Shockwave browser plugin. Once the Shockwave players has loaded the trade show, your custom welcome screen appears in the center stage while the exhibit hall begins to build the booth graphics and trade show information.

You can edit the welcome screen graphic to include:

  • New announcements in the trade show event
  • Instructions on how to access various exhibit hall features such as videos or Webinars
  • < Mention new exhibitors to the trade show
  • Display sponsor logos and advertisements
  • and more
Attendee Alias
Each attendee to the virtual trade show must enter an alias. The alias is logged into the application and recorded. A report can be generated by adminstrators at any time to see the activity of attendees, by alias.

This alias is also used to identify questions and comments in the Live Chat once the trade show is loaded.

Optional Feature: Recognized attendees. Show administrators can require a detailed registration. Upon completion of the detailed registration, the attendee will not have to register on return visits. Alias's can be matched to registration information for reporting purposes.

Your Virtual Trade Show
The virtual trade show opens to all the sights, sounds and features of a physical show. Using the arrow-keys on the keyboard, attendees moves throughout the exhibit hall, from booth to booth in your dynamic 3D environment.

Attendees can see the alias's of other attendees in the exhibit hall, view conversations taking place and participate in discussions throuthout the duration of the trade show.

In a multi-exhibit hall trade show, attendees move from hall to hall by clicking on doorways within each exhibit hall.

The Exhibits
Attendees have multiple options at each exhibit.

There are placards available at each exhibit with custom graphics and information. By clicking on a placard with the mouse, a new browser window is open to a URL specified by the exhibitor.

Computer monitors may indicate the availability of a video file or WebCast and open to a pre-defined URL when clicked with the mouse.

Booth Attendants are also available which may link to a audio narrative of the exhibitor's products or services.

All in all, there are up to six URLs or links available in each exhibit.

Managing with the "My Exhibits" Control Panel

The intuitive control panel allows administrators to easily manage every aspect of the exhibit hall experience, from booth graphics and architecture options to floor textures and poster graphics.
Booth-level Access
Each exhibitor in your trade show has a unique username and password.

  • Exhibitors log into the control panel.
  • Exhibitors manage exhibit placards, monitors and characters.
  • Upload new booth images
  • Update contact information

Booth-level access empowers your exhibitors to manage their own booths using the same login process.

Exhibit Hall Administrator Access

  • View exhibit hall activity reports.
  • Manage exhibit placards, monitors and characters of each booth.
  • Upload new booth images for each booth

Coordinators can activate individual placards, monitors and characters, update the exhibitor's contact information and move the position of the exhibit booth within the exhibit hall area. Use the upload image feature in the control panel to bring the booth to life.

Booth Images
An image template is provided when you access a booth from the control panel. The template is color-coded to illustrate where the graphic of each booth element is applied from. With the image template, a custom design can be applied to each booth in minutes.
